Dave Medina, WW Pharmaceutical and Life Science Segment Executive for HPDavid Medina is the WW Pharmaceutical and Life Science Segment Executive for HP, where he leads a diverse organization committed to providing advanced technologies and services to the life science and pharmaceutical segment. His responsibilities include strategy, solutions portfolio, go-to-market planning, and HP’s thought leadership activities for the life science industry segment. With over 22 years in the health and life science industry, he also holds a BS from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, an MBA from Tulane University, a graduate certificate in Medical Informatics from Northwestern University and a RAC designation from the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society.
Tom Downey, President & CEO, Partek Inc.Tom Downey is President and CEO of Partek Incorporated, a data analysis software company that he co-founded in St. Louis, Missouri in 1993. A recognized expert in experiment design and statistical analysis for genomic technologies, Downey has given many workshops on next-generation sequencing technology and has served as a statistical consultant in numerous genomic studies, resulting in more than a dozen peer-reviewed publications.
Melonie Warfel, Director, Industry Solutions - Life Sciences, Pegasystems Inc.Melonie Warfel is the director of industry solutions for life sciences, and is responsible for managing the development of business strategies, vertical solutions and program execution across the industry. In this role she is actively working with customers and partners to align their requirements with Business Process Management technology. She is focused on delivering these solutions by leveraging and extending many of the existing enterprise systems in use today across clinical, regulatory, manufacturing and sales & marketing. Prior to joining Pegasystems, Melonie worked for Adobe Systems managing their life sciences and manufacturing business units.
